STIR Education
Teachers make the biggest difference in determining whether children learn, yet in practice lack the requisite motivation, skills and support structures. STIR takes a fundamentally different approach. Rather than seeing teachers as the problem, it sees them as the solution – and is building a genuinely teacher led movement to improve children’s learning, from within the system itself. STIR also actively supports teachers in its movement to positively influence their peers, and reclaim the moral purpose and noble status of teaching within an education system.
