Administrative Staff College of India
The Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) is a leading think tank in India and provides policy, training, advisory, knowledge support to local, state and national government in India. Founded in 1956 at the joint initiative of the Government of India and industry, ASCI's has trained more than 2,00,000 Indian and overseas participants in its residential management development programs and completed more than 2000 research and consultancy projects. Its evidence-based research has addressed several development issues and contributed to bringing policy changes and reforms across diverse sectors including water, sanitation, health, education, energy, and urban governance.
Participant Profile: Dr. Malini Reddy (Associate Professor)
Malini specializes in marketing, educational quality, behavior change communication, participatory approaches and social entrepreneurship. She has more than 19 years of professional experience working with academic institutions, business organizations, state and local governments in India, international foundations and not-for-profit organizations. Her work focuses on marketing and social marketing spanning the retail, hospitality, education, smart cities, water and sanitation sectors. By taking a synergistic approach of training, action research, consulting and mentoring she aims to contribute to the theory and practice of Social Entrepreneurship. Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in schools is an area of interest to her.
